Pizza with smoked pancetta

Some local butchershops make their own smoked pancetta which is an amazing ingredient for preparing quick snacks. If you have a couple of fresh tomatoes, make a quick sauce for the pizza and enjoy a quick and tasty meal.

Dough
250 pizza flour mix
250 wheat flour mix
4 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 tsp dry yeast
pinch of salt
pinch of sugar

Sauce
2 tomatoes, grated
2 tbsp olive oil
1 garlic cloved, smashed
Pinch of salt
Pinch of sugar
Oregano

Toppings
6 slices smoked pancetta chopped
1 red pepper, sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
300 gr. cheese
Salt, pepper

– Prepare the dough, seal it and put it in the fridge for 45 minutes
– Prepare the tomato sauce in a pan. Heat olive oil, add tomatoes and all ingredients. Cook until you get a nice thick sauce.
– Open the dough using flour so that it doesn’t stick on the counter. If you like your pizza thin and crispy then open a nice thin dough.
– Once sauce is cold, put it on the base of your dough and add the toppings
– Bake at 220 celsius for about 11 minutes.
